The Craic House

Korea's most authentic Irish pub, right in the heart of Itaewon. Proper Guinness, traditional Irish food, live music, and pub quizzes in a space that feels like Dublin.
The Craic House is as close to a real Irish pub as you'll find in Korea. Irish-owned and operated, it sits on the fourth floor of a building along Itaewon-ro, about 150 meters from Itaewon Station exit 4. The interior is warm and rustic with jerseys pinned to the ceiling, a proper snug, dart boards, and an outdoor balcony for when the weather cooperates. The drinks menu features Guinness on tap (consistently praised as one of the best pours in Korea), premium Irish whiskeys including Teelings Single Malt and Red Breast 12 and 15 year, Irish coffees, and a full cocktail list. The food menu covers traditional Irish pub classics: shepherd's pie, bangers and mash, Guinness beef pie, buffalo wings, and weekend brunch items like grilled cheese with tomato soup. Weekly events keep the place lively. Thursday is pub quiz night, live Irish music sessions happen regularly (sometimes played by Korean bands, which is a trip), and major UFC fights and rugby matches are screened. The Craic House also sponsors the Seoul Gaels (Gaelic football) and collaborates with the Irish Association of Korea on cultural events. It's a genuine community hub, not just a bar.
