A UNESCO-listed annual celebration commemorating Buddha's Birthday. The highlight is the spectacular lantern parade through central Seoul, where thousands of participants carry handmade lotus lanterns from Dongdaemun through Jongno to Jogyesa Temple. Traditional lantern exhibitions are displayed at Jogyesa Temple, Bongeunsa Temple, and Gwanghwamun Square. Features cultural performances, lantern-making workshops, and temple food experiences. One of the most photogenic events in Korea.
